DAMN

Boy, has my life changed again since my last blog post. I co-started a business called The Co-Lab Collective in 2021 with my business partner. We put in some major blood, sweat, and tears in the renovation process. We opened in March of 2022, and it was such an amazing, transformational experience. We changed the way some people looked at event spaces in the city of Montgomery. We had a dope-ass hub for creatives, period. We also created a safe space for people who came to town to visit for our civil rights history to decompress. Lastly, but certainly not least, we created a wonderful girls' program called Hey, Girl Hey! We poured our hearts into every aspect of what we did. Unfortunately, we were forced to close after almost 5 years due to new property owners. So here I am, still full of life, still excited about life, and now at the age of 45 exploring so much of what my life has to offer. Damn, what a check-in after some years, huh?
